We recently completed the installation of an explosion-proof CCTV system aboard an LNG tanker to improve vessel safety and operational monitoring. The new surveillance setup enables 360° coverage across high-risk areas, ensuring compliance with international maritime safety regulations.
This safety-focused installation consisted of:
10 ATEX-certified cameras (PTZ and fixed)
Speed dome units providing full 360° surveillance
A Hikvision NVR marine recorder for secure video storage
Real-time video feed access from the Bridge, CCR, and Captain’s Office
These components work together to create a centralized and responsive onboard monitoring solution.
Strategic camera coverage was implemented in:
Engine Control Room (ECR)
Cargo Control Room (CCR)
Bridge (navigation and operations)
