At Satcenter, we recently completed a major marine CCTV installation project onboard a vessel located in Skagen, Denmark. The purpose of the project was to improve security, situational awareness, and operational monitoring by deploying a robust surveillance system across critical areas of the ship.
This large-scale installation involved setting up a complete video monitoring system using:
32 explosion-proof CCTV cameras, specifically engineered for harsh and hazardous marine environments
A Hikvision NVR system for high-capacity video storage and 24/7 recording
Multi-zone camera feed distribution to key control areas:
Bridge
Engine Control Room (ECR)
Cargo Control Room (CCR)
Our engineers carried out a full on-site assessment and installed each camera in strategic locations to ensure complete vessel coverage with minimal blind spots.
