Offshore vessel — Rotterdam
Starlink High Performance antennas on an offshore vessel: antenna placement, power and network cabling, integration with the existing onboard network and functional testing.
24/7 technical support for vessels worldwide
Starlink Maritime installer · Rotterdam & Istanbul
Our own engineers install, commission and integrate Starlink Maritime on commercial vessels, offshore units and yachts — from antenna mounting and cable routing to firewall, crew Wi-Fi and failover — in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Antwerp and ports worldwide.
More than mounting an antenna
Bolting a Starlink terminal to a rail is the easy part. What decides whether the connection is dependable at sea is where the antenna sits, how the cable enters the ship, how the terminal is powered and how it is connected to the vessel's network, firewall and backup links.
Satcenter handles the full scope with one team: survey, hardware, mechanical installation, marine cabling, commissioning, network integration and cybersecurity, followed by monitoring and 24/7 support. Because we also install OneWeb, VSAT and 4G/5G, Starlink becomes part of a managed hybrid network instead of a standalone box.
Hardware
We advise on the right terminal for the vessel type, trading area and data needs, supply the hardware with the correct mounts and cables, and arrange the Starlink Maritime subscription if required.
The rugged, weather-resistant terminal for commercial vessels and offshore units that need high throughput in all conditions.
Low-profile terminal for fixed mounting on masts, wheelhouse roofs and superstructures where a flat install is required.
A cost-effective option for workboats, inland vessels and yachts, installed with a marine mount and protected cabling.
Compact, low-power terminal for small craft, tenders and temporary or backup connectivity.
How we work
Every installation follows the same documented steps, so the result is predictable whether the vessel is in Rotterdam for a day or in a shipyard for a month.
On board or from drawings and photos: mounting options, blockage from masts and radomes, cable routes, deck penetrations and available power.
A clear view of the sky, safe distance from radar and other transmitters, and access for future maintenance.
Marine-grade mounts, UV-resistant cable, watertight cable glands or deck penetrations and neat routing to the equipment rack.
Correct supply from the ship's mains or UPS, with protection sized to the terminal and router.
Activation, obstruction check, firmware update and measured download, upload and latency results recorded on board.
Commissioning report, network diagram, photos of the installation and a short briefing for the master and crew.
Network integration
Starlink delivers the bandwidth; the onboard network decides who gets it and what happens when a link drops. We integrate the terminal with the equipment already on board or supply a new, managed setup:

Where we install
Our engineers attend vessels at berth, at anchor by launch and in shipyards. For other ports in Europe and worldwide we travel with the hardware and a pre-configured network.
Waalhaven, Botlek, Europoort and Maasvlakte, plus Dordrecht and the shipyards along the Merwede — our home port.
Seagoing vessels, fishing fleets, river cruise ships and yachts in the North Sea Canal area.
RoRo, container and bulk vessels in Belgian ports, often combined with VSAT or TVRO work.
Served by our Istanbul office: tankers, bulk carriers and vessels in the Tuzla shipyards.
Fleet projects in Spain, Sweden and other European ports, with engineers travelling with pre-configured equipment.
Remote configuration and 24/7 troubleshooting wherever the vessel trades, with engineers sent to the next port if needed.

Starlink High Performance combined with a KVH V7 VSAT in a hybrid GEO + LEO setup, with a managed onboard IT network and firewall configuration.
Intellian OneWeb for the business network and Starlink for crew internet, with automatic failover and separated operational and crew networks.
With the right information up front, most Starlink installations are completed within a single port call. Please send us:
We confirm the scope, materials and a fixed quotation before the vessel arrives, so there are no surprises on board.
FAQ
A single terminal with standard cabling is usually installed and commissioned within one working day. Longer cable runs, new deck penetrations, multiple terminals or full network integration can take two to three days. We plan the work around the port call.
Across the Rotterdam port area (Waalhaven, Botlek, Europoort, Maasvlakte), Dordrecht, Amsterdam and IJmuiden, as well as in Antwerp, Ghent and Zeebrugge in Belgium. We also travel to other European ports and worldwide.
Yes. We configure automatic failover and load balancing so traffic moves between Starlink, OneWeb, VSAT, Inmarsat and 4G/5G based on availability, priority or cost, using MikroTik, Marpoint, Peplink or Fortinet equipment.
Yes. We create separate VLANs for bridge, business and crew traffic, set up crew Wi-Fi with vouchers or data limits, and apply firewall rules so crew usage cannot affect operational systems.
A commissioning report with measured speed and latency results, photos of the installation, a network diagram with IP and VLAN details, and the configuration backup of the router or firewall.
We can supply the terminal, mounts, cables and network equipment, and arrange a Starlink Maritime data plan. If you already have the hardware, we install and integrate it for you.
With failover configured, the vessel switches automatically to its backup link. Our engineers monitor installations remotely and provide 24/7 support; if hardware needs attention, we attend at the next port.
